This double album marks a point in time where dark forces are showing their hand. IV is both foreboding and hopeful. In particular, Keeping an Eye on the Winds was created when the Thomas Fire was ripping through Southern California's Ventura County. For weeks, the sun in the sky, when you could see it, was dark orange from smoke, and at any point, the winds could shift bringing the fire closer
